Challenge

Designing a utility-grade single-phase energy meter measuring current from 10 mA to 80 A to Class 1 accuracy under harsh EMI.

Solution

Used a dedicated metrology AFE, manganese copper shunt, and LoRaWAN long-range communications module.

Outcome

Passed national regulatory certification showing accuracy drift of less than 0.2% over wide temperature ranges.
